[NEWS] WHO Admitted Coronavirus may Never go away just like HIV

The World Health Organization (WHO) has conceded that COVID-19 may never leave, Reuters reports.

WHO's official executive crises program, Mike Ryan, on Wednesday said the coronavirus may simply get one of the infections around the globe that kill individuals every year.

"This virus just may become another endemic virus in our communities and this virus may never go away. HIV hasn’t gone away.

“I’m not comparing the two diseases but I think it is important that we’re realistic. I don’t think anyone can predict when or if this disease will disappear,” Ryan said.

HIV/AIDS was first clinically saw in 1981 in the United States and following 30 years, no antibody has been found.

Over 4.31million instances of Coronavirus have been accounted for around the globe, with more than 294,000 passings previously recorded.
