[NEWS] President Buhari And Danjuma Meet Behind Closed Doors

President Muhammadu Buhari Monday in Abuja met with the previous Minister of Defense, Lt. Gen Theophilus Danjuma rtd, away from plain view in the State House.
In spite of the fact that the plan of meeting was obscure, yet it created intrigue on the grounds that the two men were accepted not to be best of companions lately.
Danjuma has been extremely disparaging of the administration of Buhari following rampaging killings of suspected Fulani herders in Taraba and some different states.
In March 2018, for example, Danjuma requested that Nigerians safeguard themselves against what he portrayed as ethnic purifying by the herders.
Danjuma who was clearly severe had decided two days after occupants of the Takum and Ussa Local Government Areas of Taraba State blamed the Army Operation Ayem Akpatuma (Cat Race) of securing suspected executioner herders who supposedly assaulted and killed residents.
He had stated:
“There is an attempt at ethnic cleansing in the state and of course, some rural states in Nigeria. We must resist it. We must stop it. Every one of us must rise up.
“Our Armed Forces are not neutral. They collude with the bandits to kill people, kill Nigerians. The Armed Forces guide their movements; they cover them. If you are depending on the Armed Forces to stop the killings, you will all die one by one.
“This ethnic cleansing must stop in Taraba State and other rural states of Nigeria otherwise Somalia will be a child’s play.
“I ask every one of you to be alert and defend your country, defend your territory and defend your state. Defend yourselves because you have no other place to go. God bless our country.”
He had decided while talking at the lady conference of Taraba State University, Jalingo, just as the tenth commemoration of the establishment.
