[SPORT UPDATE] Manchester City Signs a 16-Year Old Defender

Manchester City have concurred an arrangement to sign 16-year-old Peruvian defender Kluiverth Aguilar from Alianza Lima.

City authorities said the right-back is practically sure to start his vocation with the Blues on loan away from the Etihad Stadium and at present would not fit the bill for a work license.

Aguilar made his first-team debut in November in the wake of being picked by Peru for the South American Under-17 Championships prior in 2019, when he was 15.

Aguilar will stay with his present club until he turns 18 in May 2021.

Alianza portrayed it as "the most significant exchange of Peruvian football to Europe as of late".

Aguilar stated:
