[BREAKING NEWS] We Have Seen Associated Cases With COVID-19 — Lagos Private Hospitals
As the quantity of affirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria ascends, with dread that the contamination rate could deteriorate, private medicinal services suppliers in Lagos said they have seen in any event five patients with associated side effects with the infection in their offices.

They said the mandatory wellbeing screening, which included internal heat level check, was a piece of measures to contain COVID-19.
Our reporter visited some private research centers and emergency clinics in Lagos State on Monday and discoveries uncovered that administrators are not leaving anything to risk in recognizing patients with manifestations of the infection.
At the Eko Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, Acting Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. Fidelia Anele, said the clinic had seen an associated case with coronavirus.
Anele stated:
"We have put measures in place to screen every patient at the gate before he/she is allowed to enter the hospital. We check their body temperature and the instruction is that any temperature above 37.5’C, a medical professional should be alerted.
“We have a form that every patient accessing our facility must fill out. It contains their name, travel history and health issues.
“We usually ask about the symptoms that brought them to the hospital such as coughing and difficulty in breathing.”
“We score all these symptoms over 10. If you score two over 10, we will allow you to come in.
“But since we started, we have only seen one suspected case of COVID-19 at the gate.
And immediately, he was directed to go to the Mainland Hospital, an infectious facility at Yaba, Lagos, which currently houses persons undergoing treatment for COVID-19.
“That was the only suspected case that we have seen so far,” she explained.
