[BREAKING NEWS] Three Nigerian Doctors Test Positive For Coronavirus In Lagos

The Medical Guild of Nigeria on Thursday, affirmed that three of its individuals at Alimosho General Hospital and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, tried positive for COVID-19.

Oluwajimi Sodipo and Dr Ismail Ajibowo, Chairman and Secretary of the organization individually, unveiled this on Thursday in Lagos, NAN reports.

Clinical Guild is an umbrella assortment of specialists under the work of the Lagos State Government.

The organization heads said that the three specialists conceded at various disconnection offices in Lagos for treatment are in stable condition.

They cautioned clinical specialists against taking care of patients without satisfactory PPE, focusing on that all patients were COVID-19 suspects.

“Three doctors at Alimosho General Hospital and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, tested positive to Coronavirus.

“Since the incident, we have been working with our representatives in those centres, and the Medical Directors of the facilities to ensure testing of those involved.

“This is with a plan for care in the unfortunate incident of positive cases,” the statement read in part.
