[BREAKING NEWS] Seven Coronavirus Patients Recover In Abuja
Seven individuals who had recently tried positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja have recuperated from the disease.
FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, reported on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, that the seven are set to be released in the wake of testing negative for the infection.
"I am delighted to announce that the first set of patients, totaling 7, are ready to be discharged after their final tests results returned negative,” he said.
The FCT has the second-most noteworthy number of affirmed cases in Nigeria with 48 altogether. Two individuals have kicked the bucket from disease in the capital city.
Bello said the clinical group is striving to guarantee the recuperation and release of the staying 39 patients.
"We cannot thank them (health workers) enough for their efforts and we will always continue to encourage and support them,” he said.
The minister approached FCT occupants to help out the administration in its battle to contain the spread of the infection, particularly by complying with a continuous stay-at-home request that initiated a week ago.
He said any rupture of rules by individuals from people in general is a peril to general wellbeing and will be managed under the arrangement of the law.
