[BREAKING NEWS] President Buhari Approves Installment Of Lecturers Salaries

President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the installment of the February and March retained pay rates of speakers in government universities yet to join the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

The Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige, reported this on Tuesday in an announcement marked by his new media associate, Emmanuel Nzomiwu.

Ngige said Buhari likewise coordinated the Minister of Finance, Budget and Planning, and the Accountant General of the Federation, to impact the order.

The installment, as indicated by him, will pad the impacts of coronavirus on speakers and their wards.

Ngige unveiled that Vice Chancellors have been asked to revalidate the influenced speakers Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) and forward to the Accountant General of the Federation for the installments.

The Buhari organization in January, halted the compensations of the influenced speakers after they would not take on the IPPIS.
