A swoon image of the Italian man who brought Coronavirus to Nigeria has been disclosed at the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital where he is being separated and treated.

Lagos Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi who showed an image he took with the list case on his twitter handle, said he talked with the man and guaranteed him that he would be dealt with.

In the photograph, the Italian man could be seen faintly talking about with Abayomi from where he is separated. The chief was not wearing a face cover or anything.

Magistrate for Health, Prof. Abayomi, in an announcement said Lagos State has affirmed its first instance of COVID-19 and detailed it to the Federal Ministry of Health.

As indicated by Abayomi, the patient is an Italian resident who entered Nigeria on the 25th of February from Milan, Italy for a concise business visit.

COVID-19 infection was confirmed by the Virology Laboratory of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, part of the Laboratory Network of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. The patient is clinically stable, with no serious symptoms, and is being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos" he said.

He said the administration of Lagos State under the Governor as the COVID-19 Incident Commander, through the Lagos State Ministry of Health, has been fortifying measures to guarantee that any episode in Lagos was controlled and contained rapidly in a joint effort with the multi-sectoral Coronavirus Preparedness Group, drove by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
