[BREAKING NEWS] Brazil Midfielder, Fernandinho signs year-long Man City extension

Fernandinho has signed a year contract extension with the English Premier League Champions, Manchester City on Tuesday.

He said "I have enjoyed every second of my time at City. I never expected to build such a meaningful relationship with the club and the fans, but it has happened, and I am grateful every single day.”

The Brazil midfielder whose previous deal was to expire at the end of the season is now set to stay at the Etihad Stadium till 2021.

Since he joined City, he had won three Premier League titles and four English League Cups but unfortunately he missed last FA's Cup final victory due the injury he had.
